Game glitch where Sims are suddenly married to there children and not there partner

If my parent sims move to a new house or have a conversation with a child sim the game recognises the child sim as the parent's partner. If I look at the family tree the parents are no longer marrie...

Do you have the showtime EP and have they used the photobooth ? If so, that's the reason. The photobooth has a bug where it puts Sims in relationships when they use it together.

So only use it with their partner or alone.
