Game screen goes black after trying to move to a new house

Ive had some trouble with screens going black after trying to move my sims, nothing fixes it so all my sims are stuck in the same pre built house even after they out grow it! can someone please please help? its very discouraging and prevents me from wanting to play anymore

    You mean you're game crashes when you try to move ?

    • Are you using any custom content in your game ?
    • Do you have a Pangu's Axe hanging on the walls in your house ?
    • Can you move them via edit town instead of the move interaction ?
    • Can you move one Sim out instead of the whole family or does that crash the game too ?
