Game Settings Keep resetting

So what happened was, every time I look into the Options menu, every setting from graphics Age Audio Etc is reset, it always reset back to 1 including Age View
I think this has to do with a mod I downloaded but I can't seem to find it, and not to mention a year ago, I play and use the same mods as the current game, and back then the game was fine, I can change the settings, the age was normal, etc and to make things worse, I think the game is set to Max setting by default, my laptop is noisy and my game is laggy
Note: Sims3Dashboard says no corrupt file

  • @Lan8991  From the deviceconfig, it looks like the game can't read your hardware at all.  Have you tried to add you graphics card to the game's .sgr files?  Doing so incorrectly, even adding a stray comma somewhere, could produce this effect.

Please let me know what kind of install you have: Origin, disc, Steam, or something else.  Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

And again, please let me know how the game looks in a clean user folder.  It's helpful information even if you want to add your mods back later.

The scripterrors are reports from a mod, perhaps NRaas ErrorTrap, about issues that have been identified and hopefully addressed.  It's not necessary to save those files unless you're seeing crashes in-game or repeated errors about the same sim.  NRaas mods wouldn't cause the graphics issues.

  • @Lan8991  Please go into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and delete options.ini.  A new copy will spawn the next time the game loads, and hopefully any changes you make will stick this time.

If you have the same issue, please move the entire Sims 3 folder to the desktop and try again.

If that doesn't help either, please copy and paste the first 40 or so lines of deviceconfig.log, which is in the same Sims 3 folder.  (You can stop when you get to the Options section.)

I forgot one thing to mention

That is how the game looks whenever I Zoom Out

and this is what my deviceconfig.log looks like

Quick Note: the game doesn't looks as Dark as what the screenshot shows, it always turn darker when I took it from Window+G(Xbox capture thing)

Another Note: i recheck my Document The sims 3 files, and saw this ScriptError_MyLaptop__08-27-2021__00-13-48__53CAA043, I remember saw a lot of these just several hours ago and deleted all of them

Turns out that was the problem, I forgot to "Install" the graphics card list
now that I've downloaded them, it fixes all the problems i had
and if my memory serves me right, i did the same thing a year ago and didn't do it this time.
But anyway, the problem is solves, and thanks
