Game won't start.

I really could use some help. I know my computer can run the game, and i ran the base game just fine. I bought and installed the base game from Origin, and it worked fine. Then i bought a Sims 3 Generations disc, installed it and registered it on Origin.. And i was excited to play, i start the launcher and press play, it goes to a black screen, the cursor is loading. After about 20 seconds it just exits to the desktop, minimizing the game which is not responding.. What am i supposed to do here? Please help.

I've reinstalled three times and now the base game doesn't work either. So nothing works.. HELP! ☹️

    Wow, I did NOT expect that to work when I read it. It works! (for now lol). The only bad thing is that the bar with all the sim's needs and skills and money and what not, is really small. I'm able to read it but it's not very comfortable, as my recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080. My screen is 23" (58,3 cm). 

    Yeah i was also not happy about having to turn off the UAC or resetting my computer...

    Thank you very much for your time and help! I just hope it'll keep working now. Instead of just a day..

    Glad that worked. Try playing around with your settings to see what works and what doesn't. Maybe you'll find one that works better for you.
