@poi_boi: Strange wishes have unfortunately always been part of this game. I don't think they are gated properly. Just click them away or keep them until they age up.
@ladynaava: I'll add that
@TheLadyPhoenix: Too bad :( Only suggestion I have left is to take your sims and start in a new town. You can use Twallan's Porter mod for that so you don't loose the relationships. Read the instructions of the mod cause I have no clue how it works.

@Stumbleduck: Some other Mac user had this in the very beginning. Did you check the mac forum since it's more of a technical issue. I guess I'll add it to the special Mac problems. It does seem to occur on long play sessions .. and don't leave your computer on when you are gone for that long ..

a little note. No one expects you to read through 30 pages of bug reports but please refer to the posts on the first page if your issue is listed.
If it is and you have new nothing to add, don't post. Be content with the fact that you are not the only one and try the solutions provided if any. I'll try to add more suggestions later. You may post if a solution didn't do anything for you.
Since I need to read through all reports, I'm at the point where I'm glad if I don't need to read the same reports over and over.
