Maybe it was logic. It was the first time I had ever used that particular item so I might be misremembering and perhaps that's what it was. :I

2) It was the gym that came with Sunset Valley. I haven't downloaded any Sims, houses, or other lots from the Exchange for Sims 3. I haven't built any houses or public lots either (I was content to use the ones in the house bin and in town.)
3) I just bought World Adventures today and haven't even installed it yet. As of right now, the only thing I have installed is the Sims 3 base game and all of the patches. It wasn't possible for them to have gone traveling when I was playing yesterday.
That said, I've noticed some of the books from WA are in my game, thanks to the patches. My sims have fished up a book from WA before, I've seen others randomly appear in bookcases, and my frugal sims often get coupons for items that are Exp only. Maybe it's possible something in the WA patch is interacting oddly with the Generations patch?
Luckily they did gain more family related wants after I started playing but the ones that had been saved before were lost. :\
Do you think deleting my game's cache might help any?
