I didn't see this one on the front page (my apologies if I am somehow missing all these, I will blame sickness!):
To go hand in hand with the missing items in family inventory that are purchased from another country - I should currently have about 1300 ancient coins. Even my journal says so.
But I have 0 on hand. My sim who did the primary adventuring, Acacia, is 96% of the way to Visa level 2. Christopher isn't even level 1. And their daughter, Bryony, never even went out of country, she was at prep school. So it's not a matter of spending the coins. I simply...don't have them.
