Help re-registering a game I already registered.

I haven't played my sims game in awhile, so when I finally got back on it said I needed to register my game. Well this is odd because I all ready did to get the free stuff with the game. So I tried imputing my Sims 3 code and it wouldn't take it. So then I tried my latest expansion pack code, which that did not work. What do I do? I am signed into the game but I can not do anything online.

P.S.: this is a disk version of the game, on an origin account.
