HELP Sims 3 Expansion packs are missing!

Question

As an avid Sims 4 player today I decided to get back to my roots and redownload the Sims 3. I use the EA App for Mac. I own all of the Sims 3 expansion packs and they say on the EA App that they are installed. On the Sims 3 game launcher all of the expansion packs on the bottom are greyed out as if I don’t own them and they are also not in game. I tried to go back to the EA App and uninstall them and reinstall them but there is no button to uninstall them. I have no mods or custom content. Help!!!

Your packs won't load if they're not in the correct location.

Turns out I actually had to contact EA and I needed to clear the cache for the EA app and it worked!
