HElP the sims 3 can't recognize my graphics card!!

So I just installed the sims 3 and when it lunched I had this warning "can't recognize your graphics card" I have nividia gtx 1060 6gb 8 gb memory And it's brand new pc I looked up on the inte...

    I've tried that but from a different site and the stopped working I could only run the launcher and when I click on play nothing happens ☹️, then I updated the game to the last version and it worked again but with the same warning thing. Anyways I'll try again with the link you provided

      @roberta591 So I followed all the steps as it says and I got in deviceconfig. Matched 1, found 0

      I don't get that graphics card message thing any more, but I believe it still didn't detect my graphics card

      Any other solution? :/

        @soozis  The syntax has to be correct or it won't work. The first time I followed the how to it took a while to get it right. I followed the how to and then studied the existing entries and after a couple of tries I got the syntax right. If you miss one comma (or anything) it probably won't work.
