HElP the sims 3 can't recognize my graphics card!!

So I just installed the sims 3 and when it lunched I had this warning "can't recognize your graphics card" I have nividia gtx 1060 6gb 8 gb memory And it's brand new pc I looked up on the inte...

@roberta591 I think it might be something wrong with the way I typed in my graphics card on the "graphics cards" folder
Although I made sure to type it exactly as the tutorial said
But I made it at the top of the nividia list
Because I couldn't find any similar cards to mine as it's very new

@soozis if I remember it has to be with the rest of the chips that perform like yours. Either insert your new entry or change an existing one.

    I've changed an exciting one but it didn't work it still shows found 1 matched 0

      @soozis  Are you sure the syntax is exact - punctuation and capitalization is exact to what is listed in the dxdiag?  Like GTX 1060 and not gtx 1060 - it has to match what Direct X is reporting. Maybe a comma instead of a semicolon.

        Yeah I'm sure it's the same
        I re edited the files multiple times and it didn't work
        At first I got matched 0 found 0
        And now I'm stuck with matched 1 found 0
