My Sims lived in a house but I couldn't get the lights to hang. So I moved them, have a triangular roof, two storey house and it is Winter, with two days to snowflake day - but when I select the option to hang them, nothing happens. HELP!!! What am I doing wrong?
I moved again into a one story house, made with blueprints. I have solved the issue!! However I don't know how. It must have been my AMAZING building skills!! Also there were icicles, so that could be it!!
Are you using any mods/cc that could be interfering ?
Haven't used those in a long while but I don't think you're doing anything wrong

No I am not using any mods or custom content. Thanks for replying. I have no icicles on my roof which might be the problem?! But I am not sure.

mkay as you know the lights do not work on a flat roof you can always just go to build mode to place a roof on a flat roofed lot (if you don't want to move to a new lot) even in spring summer all year round you can have the lights on the house click on the door-holiday lights
also check in the launcher that seasons is ticked in (not install) just ticked in
