@tereseck No, there's no way to get a new product code. EA doesn't support the transfer of games or codes from one player to another, even if the second player paid for the content, and therefore won't help here.
It's probably not what you want to hear, but the Sims 3 "Starter Pack," which includes the base game, Late Night, and High-End Loft stuff, is often on sale for $8-10 U.S. rather than its standard (and current) price of $20. All other content is currently 50% off. And Steam is offering "The Sims 3 Collection," all expansions and stuff packs except for one, for $95, although you'd still need to buy the base game separately. So this is a decent time to buy if you're still interested.
