How come I can't make Genies in Supernatural expansion?

I can't seem to select the genie icon when creating a sim. Is that normal? Is that going to available in another DLC? Or is it because I HAVE to have Showtime in order to make one?

You need Showtime to have it. I accidently installed my Supernatural before Showtime and saw the same thing as you. Once I installed Showtime, I had the option to create genies.
