How to get blood?

Okay so The Sims 3: Supernatural said you were able to go to a hospital and get blood packs and also able to get blood fruit from raiding the supermarket. I have not been able to do either one. I cl...

Yes my Sim is a vampire. But even still I can't get plasma. I only drink plasma juice, or Sims plasma. I just don't understand why I can't have access to plasma packs or plasma fruit.

is your sim saved to the library ?

      so you can start  a new game to see if your sim can raid the hospital and supermarket

        Yeah I saved it, still didn't work. So I just turned him into a witch.. Its a lot less complicated.
