I tried all this to get cc to work on my game (the cc you can install from the launcher works fine), and now I have a huge issue. I can't tell if the cc is working or not because I can't get my game to load past the main menu. Meaning it'll load to the menu showing you're Sim (Saved games) but once you click a saved game or new game it just sits and tries to load but never does. It pops up that the Sims3 Launcher has quit working right before the screen goes to full screen and the EA comes on.
I'm not sure what all games and expansion packs it shows I have, but I have Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, and I also have the High-End Stuff pack.
I did exactly what you said here (and I already had the Mods folder and the .cfg file - older one) in my Sims 3 documents. So any idea what happened? Better still, can you help me fix it?
