I did exactly what you said here (and I already had the Mods folder and the .cfg file - older one) in my Sims 3 documents. So any idea what happened? Better still, can you help me fix it?
My launcher has bit the dust as well. I don't use the icon on my desktop to start the game, I use the executable to start the game. What has been happening if I use the icon on the desktop is that is opens up the launcher twice (one for the game and one for content), then nothing will respond or load. I only use the launcher to get my store content and stuff like that.
Also you need to have the new resource.cfg file or it will not work. The resource file tell your computer/game where your framework is set up and where to look. You can't use the old one. :wink:
