I do have the new resourse.cfg file (I followed the link you posted and I believe it took me to Mod Sim (?) to find it. I really should have clarified that, huh. :shock:
I completely took the Mods folder out of my Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims3 folder (and placed it on my desktop) just to test if my game would load. (I did it from the launcher, I wasn't aware you could load it elsewhere) and my game loaded just fine. The only difference I noticed between my folders and the ones of your (pics) folders that you showed was my resource.cfg file looked blank will yours looked like it has a windows logo was on it (and I kinda suck at this stuff, so it probably ain't important).
I know this probably makes no sense, and I approciate you helping with this. So any idea what the issue could be? That would make my game work without the Mod (and resource.cfg) folder but not with it? It would have to be something with that resource.cfg, right? I completely deleted my old resource.cfg file and just download/installed/saved the new one in my Mods folder.
