How to install Sims 3 on Windows 8

I purchased Sims 3 Starter pack. When you put the disc in it installs origin  I login to origin then it does nothing else if you click on origin it does not open and it does not install the actual ga...

So you never got to the point to make an Origin account ?

Do you have bitDefender on your Computer ?
