Hi there! I had the same problem too but EA Manger was replaced to origin, It's impossible to install ea manger unless you install origin. You will need to setup an account.

Surely the makers of Origin have a better support structure than this. How abot I get my 4 year old to take over support. Those of us struggling with something so simple as downloading and playing a game already purchased will be no worse off.
Origin - go smack yourself in the face for being so useless.
I know i have the same problem and it is really irrating.
If you read the post above yours you will see that there is an answer just there, Crin knows what she is talking about and just use the link she has posted you will have no problems then 🙂
i have this same problem, i have origin downloaded but everytime i want to download a sims 3 game i cant cuz i still need it.....please help im irritated!

Hi my Sims 3 Launcher screen is just plain white. I have installed and reinstalled the game. I dont know what is wrong. Also my sisters had updates on their games with all these cool new features but It doesnt tell me that i have an update. Also on my origin I loaded my Ambitions expansion pack but i cant install it no matter what i try. None of these happen to my sisters and we are all using the same origin account. I have tried to restart my computer. Also it says my expansion cant set up because associated sims 3 games are currently running and it tells me to close them but the Sims is not running. It doesnt tell me I have game updates on the launcher but when i click refresh it says "Unable to connect to EA Downloader" But i know I have an update.
Mine is doing the same thing! It wont connect to my origin account when I load it up so it cant update!!! Someone help asap!
