How to Stop EA Store Advertisements Popping Up In Game

I checked the Options tab in Sims 3 and I do not see any option to turn off receiving store advertisements when you are playing the game. It is very annoying. Every time I go into Buy/Build mode whil...

It worked. While playing the game, I clicked on Options, General Settings, then unchecked Enable Shop Mode. No more store ads appearing interrupting the game. I also made the folder Featured Items a read only folder so ads cannot be sent to my computer w/o my  permission. Thank you for all you help.
