how to stop the game from crashing and error 12

my game is driving me crazy!when i try to change my sims outfits it crashes all the time!and when i try to save my game it says i can't because there is an error 12 happend!😕mileymad: can you pleas...

4.7 Windows performance Index

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2375M CPU @ 1.50GHz 1.50GHz
RAM 4,00 Go(2,64 not used)
32 bits

C : 201 Go not used from 299 Go

D : 73,7 Go not used from 165 Go

and i have a question about what you said to solve error 12

how i can restore a backup?

@nadabouarir my knowledge on specs is shocking, so just going to tag @CodySimstein and @rumbutter in here (if you guys could take a look, it'd be really appreciated)

With restoring a backup, just follow these steps 🙂 Let's say your save is called Sunsetvalley

  • go to documents : electronicarts : sims3 : saves
  • You will see two files - Sunsetvalley.sims3 and Sunsetvally.sims3.backup
  • Rename (right click on the file) Sunsetvally.sims3 to Sunsetvally.sims31234 (just change the name basically)
  • Now rename Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup to Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup
  • (If you want) Rename Sunsetvally.sims31234 to Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup
  • When you launch the game you will now be launching a backup

      your processor is 1.50GHz is a wee bit below the recommended  2.00GHz is the minimum recommended by EA BUT  i would even go as far as to say 2.4GHz and up   simply because IMO the 2.00GHz is base game and doesn't allow for the added expansion/stuff packs (if any ) and store items  so your processor maybe struggling a bit

        uum i did what is on the link but how is that supposed to help me cause i didn't understand it...sorry i'm not that good with this stuff :/

        and i have a question,maybe it's a stupid one :D but is there a way i can increase or upgrade my processor?!
