how to stop the game from crashing and error 12

my game is driving me crazy!when i try to change my sims outfits it crashes all the time!and when i try to save my game it says i can't because there is an error 12 happend!😕mileymad: can you pleas...

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2375M CPU @ 1.50GHz 1.50GHz
RAM 4,00 Go(2,64 not used)
32 bits

C : 201 Go not used from 299 Go

D : 73,7 Go not used from 165 Go

and i have a question about what you said to solve error 12

how i can restore a backup?

@nadabouarir my knowledge on specs is shocking, so just going to tag @CodySimstein and @rumbutter in here (if you guys could take a look, it'd be really appreciated)

With restoring a backup, just follow these steps 🙂 Let's say your save is called Sunsetvalley

go to documents : electronicarts : sims3 : saves
You will see two files - Sunsetvalley.sims3 and Sunsetvally.sims3.backup
Rename (right click on the file) Sunsetvally.sims3 to Sunsetvally.sims31234 (just change the name basically)
Now rename Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup to Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup
(If you want) Rename Sunsetvally.sims31234 to Sunsetvalley.sims3.backup
When you launch the game you will now be launching a backup

  your processor is 1.50GHz is a wee bit below the recommended 2.00GHz is the minimum recommended by EA BUT i would even go as far as to say 2.4GHz and up simply because IMO the 2.00GHz is base game and doesn't allow for the added expansion/stuff packs (if any ) and store items so your processor maybe struggling a bit

    uum i did what is on the link but how is that supposed to help me cause i didn't understand it...sorry i'm not that good with this stuff :/
    and i have a question,maybe it's a stupid one :D but is there a way i can increase or upgrade my processor?!
