Hi guys.
Unless I'm totally missing it, I can't for the life of me figure out how to uninstall packs for Sims 3 Metal 64-bit on my mac. I recently installed the game and installed all the packs, but after playing it runs so slowly I want to uninstall some that I don't use as much (world adventures, island paradise, supernatural, showtime).
I'd really appreciate any info on how to do this. Thanks!! 🙂
@hoverstiel In either Applications or Users > your username > Applications, you'll see the Sims 3.app and a folder labeled "The Sims 3 Packs." Inside this folder is a subfolder for each pack, labeled by type and release order. If you remove these subfolders from the Packs folder, the associated packs won't load. You don't even need to delete the folders; just put them somewhere else, and if and when you put them back, they'll work again.
World Adventures: EP01
Showtime: EP06
Supernatural: EP07
Island Paradise: EP10
