[Humble Bundle] Sims 3 has been downloaded, but it wont install no matter what!

The game was downloaded and I have it in my library but when I click install it just loads for a minute and does nothing. I managed to install the game manually (without origin) but then I either got...

    Got it to work. 

    The origin installs the game to Program (x86)/Electronic arts/ The sims 3 when it should be installed in /Origin Games/ The sims 3. 


    I custom installed it in /origingames/thesims3 and it worked.

    i'll have a dig around later if i come across anything i'll post or hopefully someone else will have a resolution for you other than that is everyting else up to date java, adobe, game patched up to 1.55, origin, graphics card
