I am unable to login to Sims 3
I saw another thread on this topic, but I have tried all the "solutions" I could find. Changed the password format. Got rid of any Edge/IE cache info or whatever...I don't even use Edge, except when Sims 3 tries to call it. I'm wondering if the Sims 3 login is different from the EA login and they just don't support the game anymore, and if there is a way to fudge the account or something. Sims 3 won't let me retrieve my password or create a new login. I'm stumped...
Any ideas, anyone? I'd appreciate the help.
@Vowels-OTG and @karieddings The Sims 3 launcher and Main Menu both use the password tied to your EA account. However, there are a few reasons this can fail. One is special characters in the password; another is cached data. For the first, change your password to something with only letters and numbers, which you can do on any EA site; for the second, clear Edge's Internet Explorer mode data, again, and delete the file labeled [your email].bin inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.
Additionally, if you use a VPN, try disabling it.
