@annacameronmowat Try running the Origin reset tool for macOS:

@Tica1017 What operating system does your computer run? If it's Catalina, then you won't be able to install or play Sims 3, as the game is 32-bit, and Catalina is 64-bit only.

@Shanell2016 Please let me know what version of macOS you're running, what game you're trying to install, and any error message(s) you see. If you happen to be trying to install Sims 3 in macOS Catalina, then the accepted answer applies: TS3 won't install or run in Catalina at all.

If you're running Windows, it would be best for you to make your own thread here so that the Windows people can help.
