I NEED HELP MY SIMS COMMANDS WONT WORK

Everytime I try to give my sim a command like go to bed, or give the baby a bottle, the command sqaure goes in the corner then goes away.

I dont know what to do, Ive reseted my sims..

the weird thing is, is i told my sim to clean the sink and she did that.

but she wont give her baby a bottle which is upstairs.

and my child keeps asking the mom for a bed time story.. its crazy please please help!
