I never received my code for pre-ordering Sims 3 Into the Fture for the Dark Industrial Set

Did you order the DVD ? If so, the code will be in the DVD Box.

Yes, I pre-ordered the DVD and guess I panicked over nothing.  Probably since I saw so many posts about simmers playing with the Dark Industrial Set while waiting for the mail man to deliver their games today.

Probably shouldn't have waited to pre-order on the last EP, lol.

Those that order the Download Version get the code by email since they don't get a box or disc or anything.

It will all be fine once you get your disc 🙂

This answer is incorrect.  I have never seen preorder codes come in the CD box.  Limited Edition item codes are what come in the box.  You should have gotten an Email regarding the Dark Industrial Set no matter how you preordered the game (I haven't gotten it either.)  You're going to have to contact somebody in customer service.

Sorry. Confusion. I only saw pre-order and assumed they were talking about the limited editon. Didn't check on the set name. I apologize.

The Origin code is NOT a preorder code. It's an Origin Code. You get it no matter when you order. But you're correct, origin codes are sent out by email. 

But it can also take up to 24 hours to be sent so please be patient.

Thank you both for the clarification, my game isn't set to arrive till this Thursday the 24th so if I don't have the email with the pre-order code in it by then I guess I'll have to contact someone then.  Ugh, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to call them it always seems I get someone who just shuffles me away and I never hear back everytime.

I still have not received my code either for the Dark industrial Set. I have the game - installed and registered it. It shows up on Origin in my owned games and is the DVD version. I have the registration Make up set, and the limited edition  Quantum Power Pack which was the code we got in the box - but the whole day has gone by and still have not received a code for that Origin exclusive Dark Industrial Set. The game arrived shortly before 10 am this morning and it is 8 pm now. So I guess I wait some more.

Makes me wonder why some people got their code early before the game, but some of us did not. Doesn't seem fair. Oh well. Thanks for manning this FAQ area too Crinrict - as usual you are always there to help - even if there is no solution it is good not to ask questions and get no kind of answer at all. So bless you just for trying.
