I purchased the Sims 3 Monte Vista and it isn't showing up.

I purchased the Sims 3 Monte Vista direct download from the origin store not too long ago. It shows up in my order history but it won't show up in my Origin library so I can't play it. I've tried reloading the library, logging out and logging back into Origin and reinstalling.

  • I was having the same problem but when i went to my purchase history its still wasn't there!

    Then you need to contact Customer Support so they can take a look at your account

    They can be found here: https://help.ea.com/contact-us

    Choose a category, a game and a platform for the contact options to show up.

    If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

    You need to follow these steps:

    1.Go to http://www.thesims3.com/

    2.Make sure you are logged in

    3.Go to 'My Page' then 'My Account'

    4.Click 'Redeem A Code'

    5.Click the '+' next to 'Redeem A Code'

    6.Write the 16 digit code(serial number)

    7.Accept the Digital Services Agreement

    8.Click 'Redeem'. After you clicked it, it will tell you to got to the Purchase History. Don't worry if you don' see it in there. It will appear in maximum 10 minutes

    9.When in Purchase History, click 'Download' under the item. It will open the Sims 3 Launcher and start to download it there

    10.When the download is completed, select the item and click 'Install'. It will take maximum one minute to install it

    11.You can now start playing The Sims 3 and use the item in the game.

    Thanks a lot! I was able to download my purchase. I bought Monte Vista off of the Origins for download and it was driving me crazy that it was not showing up in my games in Origins to download.

    So, for those who are having trouble seeing their purchase, you should have received an order confirmation email and it should have the serial code included. It also gives you instructions.
