I seem to have a problem with the Origin Installer. I lost connection and cannot resume

I seem to have a problem with the Origin Installer. I lost connection and cannot resume upon regaining connection. Game installing is Sims 3 University Life. It's been installed and ran fine. I needed to uninstall briefly (offline), then this problem occurred. it reads "pausing..." and "9%". Hitting the download arrow is not working and there is no installation completed yet which can be uninstalled.

Can Origin reset the downloader or something to that nature?

Go to this folder
(if you are on Windows that is)
programs(x86)\Origin_Games (programs\Origin_games if you are on a 32 bit Operating system) and delete everything Sims related. Then try again.
