(In any of the Sims) Can preteens get boyfriends and girlfriends?

I've waited a long time and I finally had a preteen boy sim and a preteen girl Sims so they can become partners (If you know what i mean 😕mileywink🙂, but the sad thing is, they can only;

-Be Nice

-Be Funny

-Be Rude

-And I think the last one was Complain (Sorry i forgot 😕mileylol🙂

if EA where to do that it would raise the ratings of the game but teens in the sims 3 can have boyfriends/girlfriends just make sure the relationship is a high level like friends best friends etc
