info about sims 3 refresh base game

I am from india and I want to know more about sims 3 refresh base game . I have read a sims 3 blog where I read the info about sims 3 old base game and sims 3 refresh base game but I want to know some more info . First thing that I want to know is did the sims 3 old base game has  different cas and ui than the sims 3 refresh base game ? I am asking this because I have seen different cas ,map view and ui than the sims 3 refresh in sims 3 developer s game tour video on youtube or it was beta .Second thing that I want to know that why my sims 3 refresh base freeze when I save a household and load it again .Is this bug in sims 3 refresh or it happens in both of sims 3 base games ? Third thing I want to know is what happen if I install old expansion pack like world adventures and ambitons ep  with sims 3 refresh do they show base game expansion  compablity error  or they will work fine like new expansions ? If they will show the error do I need to buy older sims 3 base game and install insteed of sims 3 refresh if yes then tell can I purchase old sims 3 base game from steam or they have the same base game as origin has . I am asking because  whenever I install generations ep after sims 3 refresh it show you have recent version of base game than sims 3 generations but after this message  it install successfully .Please tell me .

    I'll try answer your questions.

    1. There is no difference between the two versions - one was released before Sept 2012 and the other after. All that changed was you now had to register your game online during installation
    2.  - could you supply more information about what is happening - 
    3. Yes, they should work perfectly fine
    4. (not too sure if I understand correctly) - the patches updated the base game's version, not the individual expansion packs (as of past a certain date). The current version is 1.67: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858

     problem number 1. my sims 3 gets slower and then freezes for a while and then game frezzeing stops  and  run slowly   and I already patched my sims 3 to 1.67 but this problem is not fixing  .my pc is windows 8 64 bit pc it has 4 gb ram 1gb nvidia hd graphic card but my other games like which are bigger than sims 3 running fine.

    problem number 2.  when I install sims 3 generations in install process a message come up this version is more recent than this,  but it wont happen with my other expansion . I have 3 expansion late night ,generation and showtime . it onlyy happens with generations but installation wont stop ,but I want to know why this message come up.

    problem number. 3 I forgot to ask it in my previous post but when I download something from sims 3 store  sims 3 laucher crashes .It happen first time when I tried to download riverview it downloaded after 5 attempts.

    My last question is do steam has same base game which is available on origin becaus I am having problems with self employement option in sims 3 late night

    or it comes with an update , if yes tell me which update diasabled self employment option in late night.answer these soon .

    I just got Windows. 8.1 on my computer and now my sims games are running slow. How do I refresh my games

    I don't know how to make sims 3 and other sims games run faster and I  am also facing this problem on my windows 8.
