The scriptError should not have anything to do with the minimizing.
Most of us get the script error, hence I moved in here. EA is working on it.

Can you play the game ? Just click yes on the message. EA needs to fix it but you should still be able to play the game.

I think this script error is affecting the ability to play the game.
Got the script error yesterday, but could still play the game...as of one hour ago the game locks up when launched (black screen with blue circle logo). Also the launcher is unresponsive (installing and uninstalling content will also freeze the launcher)

This is just for testing purposes to see if the game itself works.
If you bought the base game after September 2012, this method will not work.
