Installed dlc

I currently purchased a refurbished Mac pc , everything was going fine I noticed I couldn’t install the new EA app as Mac didn’t support it but windows did, I was worried as I know origin was discontinued. Sounds silly  but I installed origin it worked and my sims and games was ready to download, I installed the sims 3 along with my 16 DLC packs, everything seemed good until the sims 3 launcher appeared no installed packs appeared how ever I am able to play the sims 3 base game? .

  • @smashingsimmer  Origin is only out of support in Windows.  The Mac version still works, although the EA App for macOS is coming soon.

When you say your packs didn't appear in the launcher, do you mean that the little icons along the bottom of the launcher don't light up, or that you don't see an Expansions & Stuff Packs tab?  There is no Packs tab in either Mac version of Sims 3; it only exists for Windows/patch 1.69.

The important question is whether your packs are loading in-game.  An easy way to tell is to open Buy mode and try to filter by pack.  Click the button on the right of the user interface, and each pack that's loading will show on the list.  Count the packs and make sure they're all there.  If they're not, let me know.
