Installed objects won't stay installed

I downloaded two items yesterday from the exchange after getting the latest patch and they appear in the launcher/downloads areas so I clicked install and it said both items were successful and they appeared in my installed objects area; but if I go onto the game or close the launcher and re-open, they both appear as if they have never been installed and they won't show up in game.
I've looked t so many threads about this but none of them have been any help! Please save me.

I don't understand what's going on. Is this a game glitch that EA have failed to fix?
