Seriously? Now not only has this patch screwed my game, I have to run my computer with your game for a day? Not only would that prevent me from doing much of anything else, but to top it off you are telling me that my save "sound like" corruption?!?! So then the end result on this is YOUR patch corrupted my save and ruined DAYS worth of play.
I sympathise, like me I have lost all my saved game, families, ready built homes the lot, I have had to start from scratch to even get my game going, to be honest after Island Paradise I am never ever going to bother with the sims again, I sick and tired of EA not sorting out their sims game.
