Island Paradise Bug Thread

7. Made a new family on a new game.
8. No transfers.
9. EA town: Isle Paradiso
10. Win7 64bit ultimate
11. Origin Digital edition.
Having a sever issue with the game. Every 30 seconds or so the game will hang up for about a minute, then start playing again, then proceed to hang up again. Just started today after installing Island paradise. Never had issues running the sims before, and I just did a complete reload of the OS and formatted the drives, and reinstalled the Sims games in preparation for the new exp pack, so it's an absolute clean slate to work off, no prior errors, or issues.
Anyone else having the game hangup like this?
Core i3 2120 3.33Ghz
8GB DDR3 RAM
ATI HD5770 (updated drivers)
64GB SSD (boot drive)
500GB HDD (sims3/origin installed here)
EDIT: Found a bandaid fix. The cheat menu and use "resetsim *" I guess the pathfinding sucks since a sim must have been stuck somewhere.
