I was super excited to see the new update of Sims 3 for Mac (64-bit). I and I know others have been experiencing some issues especially in CAS. Some of these issues include but are not limited to
- Eyelashes being chunky (looking like sims 4 lashes)
- Odd shiny hair
- CC skin not appearing
- CC in general not appearing
I was wondering if there are anything anyone knows on how to fix these.
@livsparkle The first two are known issues:
The bulky eyelashes are universal, but the shiny hair is not. Since you're seeing both, it would help if you could click Me Too and post your specs in that thread.
The only workaround for the eyelashes is to move the slider all the way to the left (no eyelashes) and use cc eyelashes instead, although that doesn't work for everyone. The hair issues sometimes respond to changes in the graphics settings.
Is any custom content working for you? If not, try repairing the game: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Repair. If that doesn't help, please let me know whether the missing cc came in Sims3Pack or .package form.
