So.. Everytime i start the sims-launcher and press the play-buttom, nothing happens besides that the launcher just closes.
But nothing else happens, and i have no idea what to do.
I really don't want to uninstall everything (i have tried to start it in the sims 3-folder but it doesn't work either).
Any solutions? D:
Have you tried bypassing the launcher and running it off the exe file?
Depending on your system, try looking here: C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\TheSims3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe
I am also experiencing this problem. It just started in the last 24 hours. Before this, my game was running fine. I don't have any mods and am very careful about what I download to my computer.
Do you have Virus software running when you start the game?
If you happen to have Bitdefender, there is part of the software you have to turn off. I am not sure if the other virus software has the following settings.
There is a setting in Antivirus called "Active virus control". This has to be turned off for Sims 3 to load after the launch screen. This setting will also prevent you from installing any downloads when you are in the Launcher Menu.
