Amjoie: I won't quote as it is getting rather long. :D
Yeah, I didn't consider the genie lamps at all, I was just taking things out and either deleting/selling them or placing them out and then saving each time to see which brought back the thumbnail. Usually I have extra genie lamps on display but when I moved the family to the new town, I placed them in the chests.
I will try putting the insects and nanite out (at least the rarer ones) and see how it plays. I do have a huge amount of nanites from playing in the future, and you are right, I don't really need to have so many. I'll have to see if I can find copies of the supernatural cabinets with a more modern look as the house I built for this generation is decidedly modern.
As you say, I would imagine that wallpaper CC will be less impactful on the game then all the portraits and digital photo frames I like to have out. :D
I have to move my legacy family pretty much every new generation. Even when I have a generation where the game runs extremely well for me, by the time all the non-heirs marry and have children of their own, after a generation or two, my sims end up related to near the whole town. Playing this legacy has made me have a lot of respect for the players that regularly play legacies for many generations!
Your advice is always good. :)
