I'm sure there will be a patch but that patch will be to make the base game compatible to the the new EP (and I wouldn't be too surprised if the memories are going to be in the base game after patching as well). I doubt there will be a lot of bug fixes though so don't hold your breath for that.

There will then probably be another patch a month later where we will get some bug fixes but I don't think this issue will be solved anytime soon for I think, they have no clue where to look for the problem in the first place.
