Hi 45rpm - that's what I was wondering - is something else happening somewhere in this "open" community of Sims 3 that is affecting my Sim in his house? There one minute, gone the next.

If that's the case, then how would you fix it? A mod? I can't constantly be zooming all over town looking for stuck or invisible in-game Sims and resetting them. If it's happening because one of them got stuck coming out of a rabbithole or going into a car, then that's a basic flaw (to me, at least) of the game and perhaps open community isn't so great afterall.
