Sims 3 Store items missing after download – anyone else?

I bought several items from The Sims 3 Store using SimPoints, but even after downloading them, they don’t appear in my game.

Has this happened to anyone else? Have you found a solution?

I contacted EA support, but they weren’t able to help me. They said everything seemed normal on their end and directed me to this forum
