Invisibility might get fixed in the next patch... but it might not. The info for one of the more recent patches mentioned that it included fixes for invisible sims but it didn't solve all of the invisibles, that's for sure.
I'm not going to buy Generations but I will do the patch, in the hope that at least some fixes are included.
The difficulty is that if you want Generations then you'll need to patch your game - and the problems seemed to start with the patching rather than with Late Night itself. It's a shame, my sims would like a tree-house!
