Hi Vulcan01, I can understand that you might not have time to read this whole thread, it's pretty long now, but Crinrict has compiled the main information on page 1 so I would recommend you to read that.
For freezing, you could try (if you haven't already):
- Installing Overwatch mod to clean up the game.
- Reducing the graphics settings in Options so it renders faster.
- You could also try the cheat resetsim * (to reset all sims in town, just in case someone is stuck somewhere and causing freezes)
