Hi Sue - it's been my theory for a while now that the open community isn't working, that somewhere in the programming it just went wrong. I'm starting to wonder if anything that impacts on the NPC's, the townies or my other families when I'm not playing them
could affect the family I am playing. For example, a bunch of Sims are frozen in a lump on a community lot - I don't realize it and have the Sim I am currently playing call one of them - does he then freeze too because the Sim he was inviting over is stuck?
I don't think EA can fix it, they won't admit there are problems and will just keep pumping out EP's and SP's until the series is done or everyone's game implodes.
I noticed after Generations released that more people were posting about freezing/invisible Sims. For me it started happening after
the update prior to/or LateNight. Some it hits sooner, some later,
depending on how one plays, I think.
Feke - you can buy hot tubs from the Store if you would rather not install LateNight because of the celebs and vampires.
