I agree Nicki My game breakers started in the patch before late night
Now I did not have late night and when I did get it, (gift) I did not
find it made it any worse as it was already almost unplayable
Generations is again a gift and I installed it after much reluctance and
it worked fine for a while but now I have overwatch back in as it messed up
and its working ok again. I really dont like this add on at all. Your not
missing anything.
The open concept is great but Im am alsonot so sure it worked although I have a friend
who says it could just be a program with lots of bad lines of code in it
and some propogate things all over the place but not for everyone which is the
puzzler. Its puzzling how the mess ups do not work the same for all. He says
the only way to really find out is to have two identical machines with
each having exactly the same Sims set up on it.
As a example WA Messed up adventure board and excavation. That to him sounds
like badly written code but he s stunned how they dont fix it or address it
and how it does not affect everyone.
There is one person on here who says their game works perfect and its all to do
with CC mods etc etc. With all due respect they really irritate me as they
had a huge issue with Sims 2.
Their idea seems to be we shold all get brand new computers and just play Sims
on it and never add anything.
Im sure others work perfect and some work better then others and Im glad but the
question is Why?
I have Windows XP and virus protection is AVG free and Windows fire wall.
I dont download anything from the exchange except from one person I know
is CC free and it has consisted of one world which works like a gem and I
also download patterns. Thats it. When I installed Generations I never
did all that stuff with the patterns I just downloaded it and it was fine.
Generations seems to have brought alot of new people to the tech boards
with many issues from the patch on and do you notice the gurus seem to have
disappeared but perhaps they are at some EA convention which I think is happening
now or soon.
