Awww! Darn It! I am having the exact same problem too ☹️ I have Origin on the Mac and I downloaded Island Paradise and the 1.55 update and Everytime i click the play game button everything closes out. Idk whats going on but I better get some help on this soon!😕mileysad:

had the same issue so instead of clicking the icon to run the game i went into orgin went to my games then i went to "play game" and the launcher came up with no problem.
