[MAC] My sims 3 screen resolution

So, I reinstalled my sims to try to fix the screen resolution. I set my screen resolution different by accident. When I try to switch it back it glitches out and I can't do anything. I have a macb...

I did that and did 800 x 600 And it didn't even work.
