[MAC] No Disc Sims 3

Hi, 

I downloaded sims 3 from amazon assuming I did not need the disc considering it was a download. Now it is telling me it cannot read a disc...which is obvious considering I downloaded it to my Macbook Air. Does the game not work for Macbook Airs? I am confused! Help please!!

    You're like the third person to post this. Wonder if something is up with those Amazon Keys.

    What's the exact wording of the message you're getting ? I assume you have nothing else installed atm (no expansions or Store content) ?
